Yellowknife’s Somba K’e Civic Plaza was lit up by dozens of red paper lanterns tied with riddles to mark the beginning of the Year of the Ox. The new year lantern festival kicked off weeks of cultural celebrations organized by the Yellowknife Chinese Association.
