Payment

Booking Confirmation: Within 14 days of invoice issuance, a 50% deposit is required to guarantee your reservation.

Payment Deadline: A full payment must be received 30 days before the tour / activity date.
Cancellations

Full Refund: Cancellations made in 45 days or more before tour / activity = Full refund + 3 % administration fee.

Half Refund: Cancellations made 31 - 44 days before arrival day for package guests: 50% refund. // Cancellations made 2 - 44 days before the scheduled activity: 50% refund.
- No Refund: Cancellations made 30 days or less before package guests' arrival will receive no refund. // Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled activity will receive no refund.
- Disclaimer: Yellowknife Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour due to circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, poor weather conditions or charter flight irregularities.
Travel Credits

Issuance of Travel Credits: Yellowknife Tours may issue travel credits for trip cancellations made more than 45 days before the scheduled travel date.

Expiration: All travel credits will have a stated expiration date.

Redemption: To redeem travel credits, they must be applied to a booking made before the expiration date.

Void Credits: Expired travel credits are void and cannot be redeemed.

Price Adjustments: If there are any price adjustments for the same activity on a later travel date, guests may be required to pay the difference in cost.
Photography Usage Agreement & Copyright
All photographs taken by Yellowknife Tours during your tour or activities are the exclusive property of Yellowknife Tours. By participating in our tours and activities, you consent to our staff, guides, and business owners taking photographs of you or with you. These photographs may be utilized for future commercial purposes and retained for our records.
By joining our tours, you grant Yellowknife Tours the right to use these photographs. If you wish to request the removal of any photographs, please contact us. While we will carefully consider all requests, Yellowknife Tours reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the use of such photographs.
By purchasing a tour package or activity with Yellowknife Tours Ltd., you affirm that you and the tour attendees accompanying you fully understand and agree to the above Terms & Conditions.
Participant Waiver & Release of Liability
Yellowknife Tours Ltd. in this agreement refers to all company directors, employees, contractors, casual staff, suppliers, sponsors, partners, successors, and assigns of Yellowknife Tours Ltd.
Definition: "Experience"
In this agreement, the term "Experience" includes all activities, events, tours, adventures, or services provided, arranged, organized, conducted, sponsored, or authorized by Yellowknife Tours Ltd. "Experience" encompasses, but is not limited to, equipment and gear rental, orientation and instructional courses, seminars and sessions, travel, transport, accommodation, and other tourism services connected with or related to Yellowknife Tours Ltd.'s offerings.
Risk Management
The guest acknowledges that participation in the "Experience" with Yellowknife Tours Ltd. may involve various risks, dangers, and hazards. All activity participants must be aware of their behavior and comply with the activity venue rules. Venue staff strive to minimize the rate of accidents and injuries. Guests agree to accept the risks, including but not limited to:
- Loss of balance and difficulty controlling speed and direction
- Variations in terrain steepness and rapid or uncontrolled acceleration
- Exposure to rapidly changing or extreme weather conditions
- Mechanical failure of equipment, gear, or machines
- Encounters with domestic or wildlife animals, including bears, cougars, and foxes
- Collisions with pedestrians, motor vehicles, cyclists, and other road users during transportation
- Engaging in activities beyond one's physical and mental capabilities, resulting in injury or property damage (e.g., children under four, seniors over sixty, pregnant women, intoxicated persons, anyone under the influence of drugs or medication, those unable to care for themselves, and those with a history of epilepsy, cardiovascular disease, asthma, or polio are not suitable for outdoor activities. Guests must decide whether to participate and take full responsibility for their decisions.)
- Interference or injury caused by the negligence or improper behavior of other participants
2. Adult participants should bear the risks themselves. Minor participants must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who assumes their risk.
3. Venue staff have the right to stop improper behavior of activity participants, such as chasing within the venue, weaving through other participants, stopping in the direction of sliding participants, sliding in the opposite direction, throwing objects, carrying inappropriate items within the venue, etc. Causing unnecessary disturbances, offensive behavior towards other participants or venue staff, such as verbal abuse, foul language, fighting, or violating the laws of the Northwest Territories of Canada, will result in Yellowknife Tours Ltd. and activity responsible staff refusing the person to continue the activity without a refund.
4. If participants do not follow the instructions and advice of Yellowknife Tours Ltd. or venue staff, Yellowknife Tours Ltd. has the right to suspend the activities of misbehaving participants. Yellowknife Tours Ltd. will not be responsible for any injuries to themselves or others or other accidents caused by the improper behavior of activity participants, and the troublemakers or those who cause injury to others must bear the responsibility.
5. Activity participants must keep their personal belongings and valuables safe. Yellowknife Tours Ltd.'s owners, management, and staff will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of any items.
Protective Measures
Guests are advised to wear all protective equipment and gear and follow the rules and regulations of the governing bodies of the tours and activities they participate in.
The Participant Waiver & Release of Liability Agreement
All activity participants unconditionally accept the contents of this accident and injury disclaimer upon arrival at the venue.
By participating in Yellowknife Tours Ltd.'s activities and tours, guests waive certain legal rights, including the right to sue or claim compensation from Yellowknife Tours Ltd. for any issues. Guests fully acknowledge and accept all potential risks, dangers, and hazards listed in the "Risk Management" section, including personal injury, death, property loss, or damage that may result from such risks. Guests agree to waive any and all claims against Yellowknife Tours Ltd. now or in the future and release Yellowknife Tours Ltd. from any and all liability for any and all losses, damages, expenses, or injuries (including death) that guests or their next of kin may suffer as a result of voluntarily participating in Yellowknife Tours Ltd.'s "Experience".
This agreement is effective and binding in the event of death or incapacity and will not expire. This agreement and any rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the guest and Yellowknife Tours Ltd. will be governed and interpreted solely by the laws of the province where the "Experience" takes place, excluding the laws of other jurisdictions.
Note 1: Yellowknife Tours Ltd. reserves the right to change or revise the contents of these terms without further notice.
